Literary Salon

I AM ALS’ Write Stuff team requests your presence at their first Literary Salon, held on October 2, 2023 from 7pm – 8:30pm EST.

In the style of the original salons, creative gatherings hosted by wealthy women in the 18th century, the newly formed Write Stuff team’s Literary Salon will feature nine writers living with and impacted by ALS reading their work. Come and hear stories about ALS; stories of resilience, life, joy, and love.

Co-led by Shelly Hoover, Juliet Taylor and Katrina Byrd, the Write Stuff team formed in early 2023. The team provides a safe space for writers of all genres to tell their stories and speak their truth.
