Weekly HEALEY ALS Platform Trial Webinar

Please join us on Thursday, August 22nd, at 5:00 pm EST (4:00 pm CST/2:00 pm PST) for a webinar about the HEALEY ALS Platform Trial. Sabrina Paganoni, MD, PhD, will present updates on the Platform Trial, share ways to stay connected to news in ALS research, and answer questions from the audience.

This week, we will be joined by guest speakers Dr. Xiaowei (Bill) Su from Penn State Hershey and Dr. Michael Robinson. Dr. Su will present an overview of the drug development process in ALS research, and Dr. Robinson will provide insight into the regulatory process when a new drug application is submitted to the Food and Drug Administration (FDA).

Xiaowei (Bill) Su, MD, PhD

Dr. Su is a neurologist and researcher at Penn State Health Milton S. Hershey Medical Center. Dr. Su serves as the sub-investigator for the HEALEY ALS Platform Trial at Penn State Hershey, and he has a particular interest in studying biomarkers to better understand ALS pathophysiology.

Michael Robinson, MD

Dr. Robinson is a husband, father, physician, researcher, former pharmaceutical executive, and a person living with ALS. During his career in the pharmaceutical industry, Dr. Robinson helped develop and launch many drugs across a range of therapeutic areas. Today, Dr. Robinson serves as an advisor on multiple ALS research projects and initiatives.
