Join us for an informative and inspirational return to the wit and wisdom of Morrie Schwartz, the subject of Mitch Albom’s international best-seller, Tuesdays with Morrie. In 1995, photographer Heather Pillar documented Morrie Schwartz’s last six months living with ALS. She collaborated with him to pair aphorisms with photographs, creating a show at Brandeis University, where Morrie was a professor, for family and friends before he died. Heather has now combined many of her images with Morrie’s amazing insights in a newly published book called Memento Morrie: Images of Love and Loss. Her program with us will provide wonderful examples of compassionate care in the most trying of times.
