Fighting for the Future: Education and Support for Familial FTD/ALS

February 27, 2021 @ 9:00 am - 12:00 pm UTC-5

Free

The Penn FTD Center will be hosting a virtual conference, Fighting for the Future: Education and Support for Familial FTD/ALS, on Saturday, February 27, 2021 from 9AM-12PM EST. The team at the Penn FTD Center understands that ALS and FTD can impact the entire family even when just one person is diagnosed. However, we also recognize the unique challenges and situations that arise from familial or genetic disease and have designed this exclusive event to recognize and address these topics. We will provide you the chance to hear from genetic counselors, neurologists, and social workers on the genetics of FTD and ALS—and give you the chance to ask your questions in real-time. The event will also review the current state of the research, ways to find support resources and strategies for resilience. The event will be free of charge to register, but will be on a first come first serve basis with registration capped at 300 attendees. Stay tuned for additional registration information and the meeting agenda!
