Join us for the 12th Annual Les Turner Symposium on ALS. At this symposium, you will hear from leading ALS scientists and clinicians who will discuss advances in ALS research and care. Individuals with ALS, as well as their family members and caregivers are welcome. Medical professionals who work with patients with ALS are also encouraged to attend. Attendees will have the opportunity to participate in a Q&A panel, browse research posters, and connect with others who are living with ALS or striving to uncover new and more effective treatments for this devastating disease.
The keynote speaker for the symposium is Nicholas Maragakis, MD. Dr. Maragakis is a neurology professor at Johns Hopkins University, where he also serves as director of the ALS Center for Cell Therapy and Regeneration Research, medical director of the ALS Clinical Trials Unit, and director of the Center for ALS Specialty Care.
